Cleaner 

11.5 hours per week - Permanent 
Grade 2 – £12.65 per hour 
To commence January/February 2026 
Part time - Term time + 4 weeks during the school holidays. 
Hours of work: Monday 3:30pm – 6:00pm, Tuesday- Friday 3:30pm – 5:45pm 

Cheslyn Hay Primary Academy is looking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our dedicated cleaning team. 

You will play an important role in ensuring our school remains a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Working under the direction of our Senior Cleaner, your duties will include: 

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across classrooms, corridors, offices and toilets 

  • Tasks such as vacuuming, dusting and cleaning washroom areas, tables, chairs and other surfaces 

Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable, although full training will be provided.

This job involves working with children and is therefore subject to an enhanced criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions in your application.
