Cleaning Supervisor and Janitor

23.75 hours per week - Permanent

Grade 3 – £13.05 per hour

To commence October 2025

Part time: Term time + 4 weeks during the school holidays (49.44 paid weeks)

Hours of work: 1:15pm – 6:00pm 

Cheslyn Hay Primary Academy is looking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our team as a Cleaning Supervisor and Janitor. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Locking of the academy

• Ensuring the premises is secure and safe

• Assisting with security when required

• Checking stock levels of cleaning and other equipment and ordering where required

• Assisting the premises maintenance technician with duties where required

• Managing a small team of cleaners to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within classrooms, corridors, offices and toilets

• Carrying out cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting and cleaning of washroom areas, tables, chairs etc.
